HOW TO USE:
1. Collect & Dip
Collect urine in the urine cup. Dip the strip into the specimen with the arrow end pointing towards the urine.
Caution: Do not immerse the strip past the Max Line.
2. Wait for 3-5 minutes
Remove the strip after 10 seconds and lay the strip flat on a clean, dry, non-absorbent surface, and then begin timing. Wait for colored lines to appear.
Caution: Never hold the test with the absorbent tip pointing upwards after sample addition.
3. Read the result
Positive (Pregnant): Two distinct red lines will appear, one in the test region (T) and another in the control region (C). You can assume that you are pregnant.
Negative (Not Pregnant): Only one red line appears in the control region (C). No apparent line in the test region (T). You can assume that you are not pregnant.
Invalid: The result is invalid if no color line appears in the control region (C), even if a line appears in the test region (T). In any event, repeat the test. If the test still fails, stop using the lot number and call for assistance.
*Note: If the test line is weak, it is recommended that the test be repeated with the first morning specimen obtained 48~72 hours later. No matter how the test results, it is recommended to consult your physician.
Q&A:
1. When can I use the test to find out if I am pregnant?
You can use the test on the first day of missing your period. For the most accurate results, use your morning urine for the test, as it’s typically the most concentrated.
2. Can medical condition or any other common drug affect the test?
Certain fertility medications that contain hCG can affect the test result.
3. Can test results be interpreted after five minutes?
No. The test should be read at 3-5 minutes for accuracy. Do not read the result after 5 minutes, discard the test.
4. What if I see a pink background and vertical streaking during testing?
This is normal as long as the control line appears within 5 minutes, indicating the test is functioning correctly.
5. My period is overdue, but the test result is negative. What should I do?
Possible explanations include: You may not be pregnant. Or, you might have irregular cycles. You may be pregnant, but your hCG level in your urine may not yet be high enough to be detected. Test your urine in 3 days. If the result is still negative and you think you might be pregnant, you should see your doctor.
6. What should I do if the test result is positive?
A positive result indicates you might be pregnant. Contact your doctor for further advice and confirmation.
